Review by hotel critic
Ferienwohnung Salzwedel is a gem hidden amongst the trees, offering a spacious rooftop apartment that feels like a home away from home. The vast living room and bedroom are perfect for unwinding, complete with modern amenities like a TV, DVD player, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave for convenience.Although the area may be a bit isolated, it provides a tranquil retreat for those seeking a peaceful stay. The helpful Mr Kreft added a personal touch by sharing local restaurant recommendations, adding to the overall experience. While the apartment is beautifully renovated, the pillows could use an upgrade for a more comfortable night's sleep. However, the quick heating system ensured a cozy atmosphere on chilly nights. The presence of English channels on the TV was a nice touch for entertainment. The location, although a bit tricky to find, is only 4 km from the Fairy-Tale Garden and a short walk from various dining options, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The availability of free private parking and barbecue facilities adds to the convenience of the stay.Ferienwohnung Salzwedel offers a blend of modern comforts and a peaceful setting, ideal for a quick stopover or a relaxing getaway. Just remember to BYOP for an even more pleasant stay.
